How To Upload & Import Files Into The Cloud Link (CL) Web App

Upload and Import Spreadsheets, .cli files, and EBS Files in the CL Web App from your PC.

Step-by Step instructions to import spreadsheets, .cli files, or EBS files from your computer into Estimating Link on your web app.  

  1. In the top corner of you screen, click the upload icon.
  2. Navigate to the location of the file you want to upload/import.  Select the file, and click Open.  By default, you will be directed to the downloads folder on your PC.
  3. You will get a pop-up message when the upload is complete.
  4. Go to File>Import and select the type of import you want. 
  5. In this example, I will restore a project.  Importing a State Project or a Spreadsheet will work in the same manner.  A window will open and by default will direct you to C:\Program Files (x86)\Construction Link\Estimating Link V3\Backups.
  6. Using the left navigation, click on This PC, then Remote Desktop Virtual Drive RD Web Client.
  7. Click on the Uploads folder.  Select the project you just uploaded and want to import and click Open.
